Failure Happened | 26 Weeks of 26 Check in #1
So it’s been two weeks since my 26 Weeks of 26 journey started and it’s now time for my first check-in. I’m all about transparency and being honest with all of you so here goes…
Well guys….I blew it.
I didn’t mean to…but it happened.
I failed .
I had so much built up motivation and was ready to hit the ground running. My plan was to get back to my daily Shakeology and start a new round of 21 Day Fix to jump start my progress.
But then family drama happened…
Playing with Kreed happened…
My best friend’s wedding happened…

Those are all just excuses really…in reality I let myself get lazy.
Now I will give myself some credit; I have been drinking my Shakeology daily and am very pleased about that. I have also been hitting the pavement with Kreed for daily walks, so that’s great too.
I have been letting myself indulge more than I should.
I haven’t been watching my portions.
I’ve consumed more than my fair share of peanut butter.
And I haven’t been working out with the intensity that I had intended on.
Does that mean that it’s all over and I may as well give up?? No. Absolutely not. Actually, it means quite the opposite. Failing for the first two weeks just means that I will have to work that much harder from here on out.
Perhaps it’s a good thing that this happened?
I am doing this 26 Weeks of 26 challenge to create a lifestyle change. Not a 26 week change.
Over my lifetime things are going to happen that will derail my goals and progress so it is crucial that I learn how to take these challenges and push through them.
To keep pushing towards a healthy life mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I hope everyone can take my struggles these first two weeks and relate to it. More than that I hope that we can all find the motivation to push through life’s challenges and start fresh tomorrow.
Tomorrow I WILL get on track.
