Where Have I Been? | Life Update

So I haven’t blogged in awhile…how the heck are ya!?

Life has been nothing short of crazy lately and I’ve found myself in a rut, writers block if you will.

My last posts were all about my best friends’ wedding day (which was awesome!) and an accountability check in, but what have I been up to since?

I have been busting my booty with my beachbody business! In fact, I hit the emerald rank (basically just a cool way of saying I moved up the leadership ladder) in just 1 month! I have loved helping my family and friends with their health and fitness and I can’t wait to expand my reach, to you maybe??

I have also been spending a lot of time with Kreed. He is now sitting by himself and rolling both ways! I can’t even believe that he is now closer to 1 than he is to being born. Now, more than ever, I have really been focusing so much of my time with him playing, cuddling, and just staring at him. I am constantly reminded that he is getting bigger and more independent and I feel like I have to really enjoy each and every moment with him.

We have also been making great memories as a family. Jesse and I took Kreed to the Wichita, KS zoo (which is TOTALLY awesome) and he had a blast!

We also had so much fun dressing Kreed up for his first Halloween which is something I dreamed about during our infertility struggles.

Let me take a quick time out so that I can reach out to those of you who are still somewhere on your infertility journey. I know that holidays are an especially hard time. I remember wishing so badly that we had a baby to dress up for Halloween and feed mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving and leave cookies for Santa come Christmas. It’s a constant reminder of what you don’t have but want so badly. Please keep your faith and know that IT WILL HAPPEN. And when it does, it will make all your struggles so completely worth it. You can do this!
You are never alone.

We made a few trips to the pumpkin patch and ended up with enough pumpkins for the whole neighborhood practically. (Which have now been eaten by the neighborhood squirrels.)

We also made some not so fun memories as a family. Like the time our sewer backed up into our basement. That was bad. And then we also redid our kitchen. Which was more of a pain in the butt than anything but it was totally worth it in the end!

Mostly, over the last couple of weeks, I have taken time to sit back and realized how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband and family. I know that there are other people out there that don’t have the love and support that I have and it breaks my heart for them. I realize  how important it is to show them all the love and appreciation  I can!

From here forward I want to focus on balancing this crazy life of mine with my blog. I want to start a crock pot meal series and a holiday faves made healthy series! Let me know if you have any requests!
