No Bake Cookies | Protein Packed
The men in my family love no bake cookies. I love the men in my family being healthy. No bake cookies do not equal healthy.
Ever since I made the decision to make my health a priority, I have played around with recipes to try to make a ‘not so healthy’ recipe a little better for you. Because my guys love no bakes, that was a top priority recipe to make over!
Today I’m taking our family favorite and switching some things up to make for a much healthier, protein packed, no bake cookie!
These protein packed no bake cookies make a great snack for adults and kids alike! The best part?? They literally take 5 minutes from start to finish!
What You'll Need: 1 Cup Peanut Butter (I used organic chunky) 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil 3/4 Cup Honey 2 Teaspoons Vanilla 2 1/4 Cup Oats (I used gluten free quick oats) 6 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder 3 Scoops Protein Powder(if protein powder isn't your thing, just skip it!)
Step 1- Gather ingredients.
Step 2- Put wet ingredients into a microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until coconut oil is melted and peanut butter is soft.
Step 3- Add dry ingredients and combine.
Step 4- Scoop cookies by the spoonful (I use a teaspoon but I’m sure my husband would prefer a tablespoon) onto parchment paper.
You can eat them right away or let them set up a little bit before eating!
I love to put these no bake cookies into the fridge so that they are a little chilled!
